Stewed ginseng with blood nest
113 g blood – red bird’s nest
1 fresh ginseng
2 cups stock
- Soak premium blood bird’s nest in water for 5 minutes, remove the dirt, drain with a sieve and rinse. Immerse in water and soak for 5 hours or 1 night.
- Rinse ginseng and place it into a stewing pot. Add stock and bird’s nest together with water from soaking it. Cover stewing pot and stew for 1 1/2 hours. Season with salt and dish up in stewing pot.
